I used to use SQLyog (http://www.webyog.com/) but now just use phpMyAdmin. I am looking for a good SQLite management software though if anyone knows of one. I use http://sqlitebrowser.sourceforge.net/ but it’s not very good.

I’ve used Navicat, SQL Server Mgt Studio, Altova, phpMyAdmin, MySQL Administrator/Query Browser, and have looked at but haven’t tried HeidiSQL.
Navicat is my favorite, followed by MySQL A/QB, SSMS, and Altova. Currently stuck using mostly phpMyAdmin because that’s what the rest of the team is familiar with.
Have tried convincing them of the value of the upgrade, but when a free tool meets the basic needs, it’s easy to put priorities elsewhere.
Glad to see Six Revisions’ association with Navicat – I think intuitive database management gets overlooked a lot in the web dev community.

Seriously, not trying to suck up to the randomized query that will be deciding on the winner. :-) I especially like having the PHP stub file that I can deploy to sites/servers that I can’t get a MySQL connection to (SSH or direct), and for the most part it matches my development style. Biggest complaint with it (at least with version 7) is that SQL formatting in saved views is trashed – not 100% sure if that’s Navicat or MySQL that’s mangling it though.

I’ve never used any tools for mySQL tools before ..(I’m a 10 year SQL Servr user). I have been looking for a toolset to start working with both : “mySQL and a SqLite”.. I made a choice based on the grid … this tool runs on all platforms and connects to not only mySQL, but also SqLite and SQL Server.
Very interested in the input of users of : Navicat // wwwsqldesigner // Toad. Interested to know if my crieria above fails to pick the best tool for each database.
