The only one I would not use right now is obviously the multicolum one. I would maybe add text-shadow :-)

Multi column CSS 3 stuff is awesome! Earlier I had been using custom classes for generating column layouts. But, it's pretty easier to work with CSS 3 column layouts. :)

Andrew, after reading through the discussion on this site and seeing both the reactions of atheists and your Christian supporters I felt compelled to point out a few things.

The reason these atheists are offended at you posting your religion is for much the same reason as if you had posted that you were a supporter of the Taliban, because to them it's become one and the same.

If you visit ThinkAtheist or just about any other atheist community website, you can read hundreds of horror stories about these people being harassed, bullied, assaulted, ostracised, driven from their homes and communities, and in some cases even jailed on trumped-up charges - all by Christians. You may recall that George Bush, when he was in power, even said something to the effect that atheists should not even be considered citizens. If that isn't persecution, what is?

Maybe you aren't like them, maybe you have never attacked an atheist for his or her worldview, but plenty of Christians have and continue to do so.

So for many of those people, who have led hard lives as the victims of vicious intolerance and injustice at the hands of Christianity, you may as well have said you belong to a sect that holds that all infidels should be executed, because that is their experience of Christians. It has nothing to do with "Jesus said people would do this in the end times", and everything to do with the fact that many Christians have been persecuting those who don't share their beliefs. These people have simply had enough, and they are fighting back for their freedom and justice the only way they know how.

I'm not saying this to belittle your belief in Jesus, or to say anything about the wrongness or rightness of your identification as a Christian in your bio, but simply to help you and the other Christians on this page why many atheists get this heated about religion. There's a lot of pain and injustice behind that anger.

But don't just take my word for it. I ask you, respectfully, to visit http://www.thinkatheist.com/forum and read some of the peoples' stories there. I hope that you will come to understand, by reading what some of these people have gone through, why you have received such a negative response to your emphasis on your religion.

@tiff: Thank you, I'm glad I could be of help :)

And yes, it is exactly (one of the many) things He said. I have not let the comments on this article get to me. Actually, they have pushed me even more toward Seminary and a life of service to our Lord. Thanks for the kind comments!

Great article and just the info I was looking for!

PS. it's so typical how someone can see/hear the word Christian and be totally offended, then the jabs start flying. But it's just as He said it would be and Christians know that.

If only the hatred for Christians could be deflected to IE instead!!
