The real challenge when using paper, especially with lines or patterns is to synchronise and harmonize the text/imagary that appears above it.

I think I’ve seen a few web designs that used paper as a design element…….they do look quite good. In fact, it’s very interesting the way they’ve used them. I liked The Chernobyl Nuclear Disaster and Hillwood Residential the most. Thanks for sharing.

I’ve always loved the use of paper in today’s modern web designs it gives them a sort of homely feel that’s my opinion. As aravind said you should include a follow up post including tutorials on how to create such websites or even just a navigation tutorial.
