Free XHTML Template Pack: Luxury Classic

Classic Luxury is a high quality, clean and simple CSS-based template with three custom pages created by CssTemplateHeaven exclusively for Six Revisions readers.

It is clean and has a lot of whitespace and nice typography. The code is well-organized and uses standards-based HTML and CSS.

Classic Luxury is great for portfolios and personal photo sites, and can be converted easily to a CMS theme as needed (such as Drupal or WordPress).

You may use this template in any projects you like (both personal/non-profit and commercial), but you cannot resell this pack’s source files.

  • 3 custom page templates
  • Photoshop PSD files included
  • Valid XHTML
  • FancyBox support (jQuery plugin for modal windows)
  • Dropdown menus
  • Social media icons for Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn

I think it would be great if when you hovered over the social media icons they changed to color, or then went to a darker shade of gray. Other than that, great looking template Dieter! Great share!

A little too bland for my liking.

Very nice and perfect timing as I am looking to do a photography site, as a new project, this is ideal.

I think you have switched the headings used by the image. The page-demo refers to the screenshot of the gallery.

Nice theme though!

It’s clean and simple. It puts the emphasis on the pictures without any distraction. It’s perfect for a photographer’s portfolio.

Great work Dieter!

Do you have the headings for “page” and “gallery” mixed up above the screenshots? ;]

In any case, I love it! Very nice – simple and elegant!

I would love to convert this for use with Google Blogger – would that be okay?

Are the images for the page and gallery the wrong way round?

Jacob Gube

February 22nd, 2010

@Matthew Heidenreich: Not a bad concept due to the theme’s color scheme.

@Design Informer and @Monie: That someone is yet to be determined. I’ll be talking to Dieter about it. I’d do it, but because of everything that’s going on with Six Revisions and Design Instruct, it may take a while. But I agree that this would be an amazing WordPress theme.

@Rob Eardley: You know what, when I saw Dieter’s template pack for the first time, that was exactly what came to mind. A wedding-themed website.

@Jasper and @David Couillard: Yes, that was my fault. The heading and the links are correct, but the images are in the wrong order. I’ve corrected it now (it may take a bit of time to refresh though, because of the disk caching on Six Revisions).

@Erwin Schro: Erwin, that’s great! Please link it back from here, and I’ll update this post with a link to your Joomla! theme when it’s available.

Well, very nice template – but how to use it? It’s not a wordpress template, it’s not a blogspot template. What is it then? The zip file does not contain a “how to use” text file.

May 19th, 2011

Excellent, but:
a) Spelling seperator or separator?
b) Missing file referenced in the CSS for the menu: dropdown.png?

June 10th, 2011

Nice work, thanks!
