There’s not much here that touches on Gestalt principles, e.g. contrast, size, complexity are not Gestalt principles (although, Simplicity is), examples of Gestalt principles would be Reification, Multi-Stability, Closure, Figure etc.

However…a good web designer would do well to read up on Gestalt. It’s quite drawn out though, I studied it at University and may be overkill for your average designer.

Still, some good points!
