I envisioned it as the homepage of a full site, with a blog included. The topic here covers designing in Photoshop and aims to teach Photoshop tips and tricks while creating a web design like one would in the real world for a client. Certain choices and design decisions are briefly touched upon here but weren't discussed in detail as that wasn't the point of this tutorial. Hope that helps! But it teaches you nothing about design. It teaches users Photoshop comp techniques.
