Our work website gets 10% of it's traffic from ipad, iphone and android. Whilst it's not a "Mobile Website", all features work they just need to pinch zoom. We've discussed using a specific design just for mobile, but implementing it right now would be too costly. When we are looking at our next major site revamp, Mobiles will be a major part in the decisions.

I agree, the mobile web is growing fast and keeping up is a full time job. Not only do you have to program for all the types of cell phones, but also all the mobile pads on the market today. This becomes real tricky when you are not trying to dumb down the mobile experience to nothing but text, but incorporate video, flash etc.

The mobile web design are STILL simple and easy, nothing too fancy, but this goes to WAP only, iPhones and all this smartphones show the website as fully as original (full web).

Older phones still show TEXT-ONLY phones, nothing went insane with the designs, much graphics is the logo.

The designs that have been shown are great but only the start of the smart media and smart phone world.

I think as more mobiles come on the market their will be a height increase in the demand for applications as well as platforms in which they have been made on.

The web and mobile world is fairly new and I think we can expect big things to come from it and some great designs like the ones posted above.

Any suggestions on how to develop and test for so many mobile platforms with different settings and resolutions? I recently built a mobile app but without actually owning several different phones, my testing has been limited.

Thanks,
Chris
