Great list, I visit some of this sites regularly

why is design bump on the list? the linked to feed is set up to be worthless – one sentence per article. maybe its a good site, but not a good RSS feed.

John Campbell Jun 17 2008

Hey Ron,

I fixed the RSS feed to show the links descriptions as well. Better?

I can’t believe you didn’t include they always post really wonderful design articles with tons of examples. Great selection. I haven’t hear many of these.

Bamboo Forest Jun 20 2008

Some nice specimens here.

deli dana Jun 20 2008

Jacob Gube Jun 22 2008

Thanks for all your feedback, I hope some of these sites were new to you (some of them were new to me too).

@ron: I think Design Bump’s an upcoming site that’ll be useful to all of us. It’s already obtained a strong following in such a short period of time. Regarding its RSS feeds, I think it’s based on preference – some people like full feeds, and others appreciate abridged feed items for easier scanning.

carlnunes Jun 24 2008

How about a file attachment, with the 12 sites, that we can import into our bookmarks?

Just a thought; as I’m visiting and adding each site in the artical.

Thank you for all the great info.

Fredrik Jul 06 2008

Great list. I really believe design skills can be learned.

Nice list, enough information to cover quite a few aspects of web design.

Mike Bobiney Aug 14 2008

This list could have gone on and on.. One thing I notice is that nobody who writes these ever mentions their own web design website? ;)

Jacob Gube Aug 18 2008

@Mike Bobiney: This list can definitely be extended (and I encourage everyone to share their favorites here in the commenting section). This list was taken from a previous post where readers of Six Revisions suggested sites which they frequented to get design inspiration.
